The fascinating Grand Hotel Chiaia di Luna is situated in a natural amphitheatre which has 2000m2 terraces overlooking the sea and is 500 meters from the centre of the island. This is the only hotel in Ponza with a view both on the Ponza harbour, on the Chiaia di Luna bay and on the Palmarola Island. The standard rooms are situated in the central building and furnished in a typical Mediterranean style. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.

Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
