The Prague Congress Centre is available to a wide spectrum of clients, offering services and premises for congresses, conferences, international political meetings, and cultural events. It is located in the wider city centre of the metropolis, directly at Metro C-Line Station - Vyšehrad, only two stations away from the centre of Prague. For those arriving by car or bus, the location is very easily accessible thanks to the nearby Prague Ring Road. At the Prague Congress Centre, there are sufficient parking spaces, including a charging HUB for electric cars. Václav Havel Airport Prague is only 18 km away from the Prague Congress Centre. A historic fort located in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. It was built, probably in the 10th century, on a hill over the Vltava River. Situated within the castle is the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, as well as the Vyšehrad Cemetery, containing the remains of many famous people from Czech history, among them Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Karel Čapek, and Alphonse Mucha. It also contains one of Prague's oldest surviving buildings, the Rotunda of St Martin from the 11th century. The oldest buildings in Prague are located within Prague Castle. The Basilica St. Martin, which was built from 900-950, and the Church of the Virgin Mary, which was built in the year 870. Local legend holds that Vyšehrad was the location of the first settlement which later became Prague, though thus far this claim remains unsubstantiated.

The National Museum was established as a “national museum” in 1818 by the ceremonial declaration of the of aristocracy on 15th April. The collections were first gathered in the minority Monastery of St. Jakub and in private flats. Šternberg Palace at Hradčany became the first permanent headquarters of the Museum in 1819, partially lent for this purpose by the Society of Patriotic Friends of Art. Today it is one of the National Gallery buildings.Currently the bulding is under reconstruction and the collections can be seen in the new building in Vinohradská street, no.1.
