Quem somos

Palazzo Zuppello is an 18th century noble residence and a beautiful example of Sicilian architecture, which has been recently restored. It is the only hotel in the historical center of Augusta. The magnificent stone-made arches at the entrance of the hotel catapult our guests into an atmosphere where past and present, tradition and modern design find a perfect fusion. The 4 stars hotel welcomes our guests with refined details, technology and comfort. Our 20 rooms include suites, standard and superior, are a perfect fusion of ancient and modern style. Our two suites have furniture and furnishing of prestige and they both lean out to original shelf balconies. The hotel also offers meeting room for up to 120 places in stage.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
