The St Nicholas Church is located in the very center of Batumi. This Church is more than 150 years old and it is one of the oldest churches in the city. An initiator of construction of the Church was the Greek community of Batumi headed by mayor of the city Ilya Efremidi, Greek by nationality. The first service was administered there in 1871.Nowadays the St. Nicholas Church is not only a cultic monument but also one of the city’s most beautiful architectural and historical monuments.

The Church of the Mother of God in Batumi is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral, originally built as a Catholic church early in the 1900s. A Gothic Revival design, the church is located in the Black Sea city of Batumi in Georgia's autonomous republic of Adjara. The church was built as a Roman Catholic church through the sponsorship of the Zubalashvili brothers, Georgian Catholic businessmen, between 1898 and 1902. During the Soviet period the church was closed and converted into a high-voltage laboratory. In 1989 the church was transferred to the Georgian Orthodox Church. The Roman Catholics in Batumi now use the Church of the Holy Spirit, a modern structure consecrated in 2000.

Batumi dolphinarium opened in 1975. At that time it was the first demonstrative dolphinarium in former Soviet Union. It used to belong to the greatest dolphinariums of the world. The existence of the dolphinarium, with the other sightseeings, made the town and the whole region more attractive for tourists. Not only our citizens attended the dolphins show, but the desirous arriving especially for this event.The dolphinarium amphitheatre is divided into 4 sectors and consists of 795 seats.
