The Agathae Hotel B&B Catania, named after Saint Agatha, the Patron Saint of Catania, was finally rebuilt at the beginning of the last century after much of the city had been destroyed 100 years previously by a devastating earthquake. Our high vaulted ceilings, tasteful yet not intrusive interior design along with a collection of Sicilian artisan-made furniture all makes for a combination that is both pleasing to the eye and practical. Built in 1903 from the ruins of an existing building, this Liberty-style hotel is set in the heart of Catania and boasts a host of impressive amenities, making it the ideal setting for your break. The Agathae Hotel B&B Catania has 15 rooms all with balconies. Some overlook the majestic Via Etnea and other the beautiful Villa Bellini, all distinguished by different patterns and exclusive fabrics, furnished with sobriety and fully equipped with all the facilities. Our apartment is elegantly furnished and equipped, has 4 to 6 beds. The Agathae Hotel B & B Catania has a large meeting room, elegantly furnished and equipped with all the audio video capabilities. It can accommodate up to 10-40 people, ideal for business meetings, presentation and conferences.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
