Ballroom

THE BALLROOM at The Dewberry is a modern expression of a classic, grand ballroom. Troweled plaster ceilings and walls create a curtain of warmth, while two continuous walls of windows look out to the gardens beyond. The wooden floor is an oversized expression of a parquet pattern found in Versailles. The central focal point, a cast brass and crystal palmetto chandelier, is evocative of old Charleston, yet sits comfortably within the new Ballroom pavilion. Floor to ceiling drapes can be adjusted per your event, creating a rich play of light and shadow between the interior ballroom and the gardens beyond.
