Take a step back into a bygone era with a stay at Schaefers' Halt historic cottages, a self-catering stay for stressed city dwellers looking for an authentic country experience. The property is located in the Dullstroom countryside and is a nature lovers' retreat that offers country accommodation near Dullstroom in four cottages on the farm and a fifth on the adjacent property, as well as a country wedding and function venue known as The Barn. The Barn at Schaefers' Halt is an affordable country wedding and function venue for a romantic wedding evoking a bye-gone era. Seating up to 150 guests the wedding reception can be tailored to your budget. This is a country destination with great style. In addition, it provides elegant accommodation as well.
