Convention Bureau Genova is a pool of firms promoting the meeting and event industry in Genoa since 1988. In collaboration with its members - more than 45 businesses working in the meeting sector (hotels, PCOs, convention centres, catering companies, travel agencies, transportation companies, Genoa's Airport, Genoa's Aquarium, local publishers and technical conference service providers) - the Bureau provides global assistance in conference and event planning such as finding hotel accommodation, helping select the appropriate location and conference venue, advising on catering services, incentive programs and all collateral activities.
The gateway to the Mediterranean sea and - for more than seven centuries - the Capital of the homonyms Republic, Genoa is known with the nickname of “La Superba” (The Superb). Your first encounter with the city is always an emotional experience, especially when you arrive by air or by sea and you look at the fabulous panorama of this urban amphitheater rising from the water, silhouetted against the mountains.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
