The Baro is an ecologically built, high-quality archipelago hotel in the embrace of the world’s most magnificent archipelago, in the Barosund region of Inkoo. The diverse and unique archipelago of the Gulf of Finland, pure nature, the presence of the sea, old trees and local stories from the Viking Age are enchanting from the very first moment. As our guest, you will have a personal, warm and memorable experience both in our hotel and in our restaurant. The surrounding nature as well as diverse recreational opportunities and services complement the experience with a unique combination of closeness to nature and luxury. Our location is excellent: less than an hour from Helsinki Airport or the city center and less than two hours from Turku. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
