The Cairnbaan Hotel was built in the latter part of the 18th Century during the construction of the Crinan Canal. Cairnbaan Hotel is a special place to hundreds of people and has many claims to fame. The hotel has played host to several famous guests, including The Princess Royal, Vice Admiral Lawrence, President Bill Clinton and Congresswoman Hilary Clinton.
