Hotel du General d'Elbee is located near the canal's small port in Noirmoutier's castle square, on an island with a mild climate; it is linked to the mainland by a bridge, or at low tide, by 'Le Gois', the astonishing sea path. This is a flat country with houses crushed by the sky, with earth moistened by a thousand wet marshes, creating a fascinating mosaic of lights at sunset. An oasis isolated from the world, bordered by sandy beaches, a landscape rich in simplicity. The hotel offers 27 rooms (of which 4 are apartments) with the charm of the homes of our ancestors. You can swim in the shadow of the old medieval castle.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
