You will meet Mr. Yannis and you will pass through vineyards, abandoned villages (Αgrilia and Κera), cave houses, churches and to an old traditional wooden bakery at Μanolas the capital of Thirasia afterwards follow the path to the magnificent caldera view ending to the monastery of Κimisi located on the southern part of the island called the balcony of the volcanoes. The tour will be garnished with a fine meal served at an old winery the Μitato. Lunch is cooked with local & Cretan products. The tour will end by walking down to the most traditional port of Santorini, Korfos port to take the boat back to Ammoudi. The tour starts from our farm with the basic ride lessons from our professional instructors. The journey takes from 1 until 2 hours and offers the opportunity to explore the unique countryside of Santorini, to admire and be photographed with background the unique volcanic landscapes of the island riding through the amazing nature of Akrotiri we will arrive near the archaeological site. Passing by the region where the great civilization flourished, as shown by the finding that was destroyed by the eruption and head towards the picturesque chapel of St. Anna. Here you can admire the traditional architecture and peaceful surroundings. Then we continue riding to the beach of Vlychada, which stands out for its particular physiognomy. The landscape resembles lunar. The sculptured volcanic cliffs that rise above the beach impress every visitor. At Eros Beach it is worth to take pictures where the landscape is particularly impressive. With these outstanding images our route is completed and we will take the road back to our farm.
