Set among acres of peaceful gardens yet close to motorway links, 4 Star Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf and Spa combines country club style with modern facilities. Just outside the historic market town of Whitchurch in Shropshire, with its rail links, close to the A49 and only an hour from Liverpool, it’s a perfect venue, whether or not golf is your sport. Chester, Shrewsbury and Telford are all nearby. OUR FACILITIES Two excellent golf courses and 300 acres of grounds make Macdonald Hill Valley Spa, Hotel & Golf a cut above the rest. A choice of three suites – two can divide into individual rooms – and a selection of boardrooms all benefit from natural light and free, unlimited WiFi with the option to upgrade to 100 MBps. A sun terrace, panoramic views and space for up to 300 guests make Shropshire Suite an ideal choice for a larger conference. Use the open plan reception or split the room into two to suit. Cheshire Suite has space for 60, with stunning views over the grounds, while a bar area and small terrace for your 50 guests bring particular charm to Stafford Suite. The 80 bedrooms ooze contemporary chic with stunning views towards the North Wales mountains. Challenge colleagues to a round of golf at our highly acclaimed Emerald and Sapphire then enjoy an award winning meal at Borders Restaurant.
