The Hotel is ideally situated to explore the whole area. Go deep-sea fishing, head for the hills or explore one of the most unique Freshwater Lake Systems in South Africa. A launch trip to the Knysna Heads will add to the day’s excitement, not forgetting to sample the famous Knysna Oysters. There is also the Brewery which offers tours and tastings. Then take on the world famous Cango Caves and the Ostrich and Crocodile Farms of Oudtshoorn, only an hour’s drive over the historic Outeniqua Pass which is one of the 4 passes route over the Outeniqua mountain. There is also wine tasting on the Estates of the Karoo town of Calitzdorp.
