Wild Boar Estates is close to the M6 set in the open countryside in the heart of the Lake District. The hotel is ideally situated for both business and recreational pursuits. As well as an exquisite boardroom with private dining facilities, Wild Boar Estates also provides delegates with a cosy place to stay and is just one mile away from Windermere Golf Course. Wild Boar Estates offers 31 individually styled bedrooms ranging from Squirrel's Drey, to Fox's Den and Owl's Nest. All of the rooms have free wifi, satellite and radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We can provide full catering for those all-important formal meetings or corporate events, including fun activities to keep your guests busy. Think clay pigeon shooting with a professional instructor; smoking courses in the onsite smokehouse, real ale-making talks and whisky tasting evenings in the hotel’s bar. We can also recommend local corporate events and teambuilding experience companies, who can offer great advice and expertise in delivering a range of corporate events and teambuilding experiences in our fantastic private woodland. Against all odds, we have opened up our newest restaurant, Serafina, This little gem of a restaurant, perched on top of Nob Hill, has truly been a labor of love, as we were set to open at the end of February, and then had to do so during the ensuing pandemic....We are so excited about Serafina, which has been a concept in the making for many years for us. Serafina was Maurizio’s grandmother, and the name of her eponymous restaurant in the heart of Trastevere (Rome), where Maurizio first began making pizzas at the age of 14. She was a tough woman and wonderful chef.. an inspiration for his love of cooking then, and inspiration of how he is determined to persevere despite the difficult circumstances of today. We hope to create a warm, elegant space where neighbors and friends can come together. We have an amazing team with our partner Giuseppe Terminiello, the co-owner of Piccolo Forno with us (we also own Ideale, in North Beach as well), and Umberto Cannarsa, an accomplished and incredibly talented chef from Rome, who had his own successful restaurants there.
