The Melbreak Hotel is a family run motel style country house hotel set in 3 acres of idyllic grounds on the western edge of the Lake District. The Hotel boasts dramatic panoramic views across this constantly changing landscape to the Loweswater valley and mountains beyond, including the imposing Melbreak, from which the Hotel takes its name, and to the rugged coastline of the Solway Firth. Nearby is Workington and the Cumbrian Coast. This is a handy location for both business visitors and holiday makers, being close to the A66, the main route through the North Lakes.

Over the past fifteen (15) years, we’ve grown from one (1) Thriller vessel to the current operation of three (3) Thriller Vessels, and one (1) Thriller Miami Hurricane that were built for Miami’s character, charm, and local culture.
Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
