Set on historic Greenmarket Square, the Inn On The Square hotel immerses the traveler – whether on holiday or on business - into the sights & sounds of beautiful Cape Town. A landmark hotel, along with its unique setting and comfortable, refurbished accommodation, the Inn on the Square is complete with heated rooftop swimming pool and sundeck overlooking Table Mountain and a new signature restaurant, “Dish”, which presents diners with the option of being seating either in the refined, urban interior or an open air terrace which spills out onto the Square. The Inn on the Square has 165 fully equipped guest rooms, with individual air-conditioning in each bedroom. DISH the in-house restaurant, specializes in top quality South African cuisine offering healthy alternatives. The menu is complemented by a great selection of local and imported wines that can be enjoyed either in the restaurant, in the Dish cigar lounge or al-fresco on the terrace. Cuisine is either a buffet for breakfast or a la carte style for lunch and dinner.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
