Hotel Alceste is an elegant hotel situated 300 metres from the Selinunte Archaeological Park, 450 metres from the nature reserve at the mouth of the River Belice, and only 300 metres from the sea. It is the ideal location for a relaxing seaside holiday in the splendid region of Sicily, and boasts an excellent restaurant which will delight your palate with typical local cuisine. Hotel Alceste offers comfortable rooms with ensuite showers, providing the ideal resting place during your stay in Sicily. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
