On the banks of the Sile river, in the midst of the greenery of a century-old park at the doors of Venice, in the village of Quarto d'Altino, Hotel Villa Odino is a place of unexpected quiet and elegance. A country residence for the bishops of Venice dating back to the 16th century, it still preserves its ancient charm although it now comes with the most modern of comforts. The refined elegance of this country residence is evident in Hotel Villa Odino´s 30 rooms and suites found in the main part of the villa as well as in the new section. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing.
