About us

The Hotel Califfo is situated in a quiet panoramic position facing the Gulf of Cagliari at the end of the wonderful Poetto beach, only 9 Kms from downtown. The Hotel, recently expanding, is equipped with all comforts. Our hotel has 300 beds, with a restaurant for 350 people and a meeting center for up to 400 seats. The Restaurant is available for weddings reception, Banquets and Congressional Lunches; our Rooms are modular and allow the hospitality of different demonstrations with the suitable privacy.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
