Hyatt Raipur is the first international premium business hotel, strategically located on National Highway 6, which connects Raipur with Naya Raipur, the proposed new capital of the state and is located 11 kilometres from the Swami Vivekanand Airport, Raipur. The hotel block, part of the mixed-used complex of Magneto Mall, is situated between the 4th and 7th floor towards the front of this shopping mall. The hotel offers 105 guest rooms and luxury hotel suites with contemporary design and panoramic views of the city from all guest-rooms. There are several luxury and economical places to stay. The Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is known for its lush green vegetation and unique wildlife, located at a distance of 85 km from Raipur. The major wildlife attraction are Tigers, Sloth Bear, Flying Squirrels, Jackals, Four-horned Antelopes, Leopards, Black Buck, Jungle Cat, Barking Deer, Porcupine, Bison, Striped Hyena, Wild Dogs along with a sizable bird population including Parrots, Bulbul, White-rump Vultures, Peafowl, Wood Peckers, Racket-tailed Drongos and others.

TriveniSangam, the holy confluence of the three rivers of Mahanadi, Pairi and Sondur, is located in Ranjim. Also noted for its rich cultural heritage, the town is home to some of the most beautiful temples in India. Many are supported by twelve towered columns embroidered with stone carvings bearing the faces of the various gods of Hindu mythology. KuleshvaraMahadevaMandir is a statue of Lord Buddha in a meditative position carved out of black stone under abodhi tree. The annual RajimLochanMahotsav is held between the last half of February and the first week of March. The various music and dance performances are a showcase of the rich culture of Rajim.

Dating back to the fifth century, Sirpur was an important centre for Buddhists and was visited by Hieun Tsang, the seventh-century Chinese scholar. Located 78 km (48 miles) from Raipur on the banks of the river Mahanadi, the town of Sirpur has been mentioned in ancient epigraphical records. The seventh-century Laxman Temple (dedicated to Lord Vishnu) is considered one of the finest brick temples in India with a stone doorframe. First discovered in 1872 by Lord Cunningham, the temple is famous for its interesting carvings. Other famous attractions in Sirpur are the Gandheshwar Temple and the Buddha Vihara.
