About us
The Excelsior Grand Hotel is the largest hotel in Reggio Calabria and is located in the heart of the historic and commercial center of the city, behind the National Archaeological Museum of Magna Grecia. The Congress centre of Grand Hotel Excelsior stands in the heart of Calabria and can host up to 200 people. We can offer an extensive variety of room dimension and utility; Congress halls, suites for smaller business meetings or brief seminars. There are 84 suites and rooms available for accommodation and ’Gala’ panoramic restaurant for up to 150 people.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing.
