Your Event. Our Mission. Let's create something extraordinary. The newly renovated Hilton Vancouver Airport hotel is in the heart of Richmond city centre in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. The Vancouver International Airport is only 3 miles (6 km) away and accessible via complimentary shuttle 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Within walking distance is CF Richmond Centre with 200+ shops and services, a SkyTrain station with direct access to downtown as well as a variety of local restaurants. Stanley Park, Rogers Arena, BC Place, and the Washington State border are all within 30 minutes. Hilton Vancouver Airport is comprised of 237 newly renovated (2020) guest rooms and suites. All guest rooms feature a luxurious Hilton Bed, a 55" TV, high-speed internet access and large work desks with ergonomic chairs. Our suites have separate living and sleeping areas, many with balconies, and mountain views. Our on-site amenities include local hot spot CAVU Kitchen Bar, featuring inventive cuisine and daily happy hour, a 24/7 lobby shop, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a year-round heated outdoor rooftop pool. You can count on our in-house expert planners and culinary team to take your event to the next level. Our indoor-outdoor event venues span 5,000 square feet and feature 7 meeting rooms, including a renovated ballroom for up to 350 people (3,432 sq. ft). Our premium boardrooms feature leather high back chairs and superior amenities and LED TV connectivity. Whether in-person, virtual or hybrid, our audio-visual can accommodate your technological needs to ensure your event runs seamlessly. Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
