The Shiraz Estate is situated in the lush Riebeek Valley, only 1 hour from Cape Town (South Africa), 1881 Guest House at Shiraz Estate, Riebeek Kasteel can trace its heritage back to 1881 when the Laubscher family originally farmed tobacco on the Vlakfontein Estate. This homestead provided for spacious rooms, high ceilings, and everything else that was regarded as essential for comfortable living in those days. Time passed and a Shiraz vineyard was planted and some of the best wines in the country were produced. The Shiraz Estate is currently being developed as a private Guest House, Self Catering and Venue destination. It is available for weddings and conferences. The Estate consists of 26 bedrooms and will be able to accommodate 52 guests, making Shiraz Estate an attractive new venue for weddings, conferences, art and creativity courses.
