More
The former coal-fired electric plant in Rottweil called “Kraftwerk” is one of the most impressive industrial buildings in Germany from the turn of the century. Designed by the noted architect Professor Paul Bonatz, the power plant was built within one year, between 1916 and 1917. After 20 years of decay, the power plant became redecorated. Today the industrial building is one of the most spectacular event locations in Germany characterized by modernism; the industrial construction features striking, artistic elements. The various rooms can be utilized for a wide range of events, conferences, conventions or any other type of corporate, consumer or exhibition event up to 1,500 persons. The “Kraftwerk” possesses an impressive and energetic event atmosphere which stimulates and demands creativity from everybody involved. Every year there are approximately 120 events of all types - Conferences, weddings, corporate events, product presentations, for example Porsche, LBS, ThyssenKrupp, Volvo Trucks, Daimler and many more.
