The Antico Casale of Monte Gualandro is a historic noble country residence from the 18th century, situated in 100,000 square meters of parkland with centuries old olives and a splendid view of Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. The Antico Casale, after more than three hundred years, has returned to its original vocation as an inn. The building has been carefully restored with particular consideration for its historical significance, preserving the original materials (cotto, tiles, wooden beams, frescoes, coats of arms, fire places) where ever possible, to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
