La Rive Akaroa Motel is the first motel you see as you drive down the hill and arrive in Akaroa. It is well known for the distinctive turret at the end of the building and the French flag that is always flying from the flag pole. It has a long established reputation for affordable, clean and comfortable accommodation. It is available to both local and overseas visitors and can cater for traveling family groups. It offers 8 well equipped guest rooms, Akaroa's only motel with French doors opening onto private lawn and fenced garden area.
