The Melia Alicante hotel is located alongside Postiguet Beach, next to the Marina, in the heart of the finest area in the city. 100 m from City Hall, the shopping district and the historical city centre of Alicante, 800 m from the Archaeological Museum (MARQ), 1 km from the train station and 10 km from Altet airport and various golf courses. The hotel has 546 guest rooms, all outward facing and with views of Postiguet Beach or the marina. The hotel is an ideal place to host meetings, conferences and various other functions.

The Castle of Santa Barbara is located at the top of Mount Benacantil, 166 meters above sea level. It is one of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain, from which you can perfectly see the bay of Alicante.
It has three enclosures at different heights and from three different periods:
In the highest enclosure (“La Torreta”) are the Torre del Homenaje and the oldest remains of the fortress, dating mostly from the 14th century.
In the middle enclosure are located the most important rooms that were built in the sixteenth century such as:
- The Philip II Hall
- The Guard Corps
- The Patio de Armas
- The Queen's Bastion.
The lower enclosure dates back to the 18th century and it houses the so-called Revellín del Bon Repós.

This in turn with the intention to deliver a fun and engaging experience.
Julie is a BCIT graduate and has been an active player in the hospitality industry since she was twenty-two. In 1981, Julie founded Everything Done Right Catering, a high-end catering business. During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico.
In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. An invitational organization of women leaders in food and beverage whose mission is further education, scholarship, and philanthropy.
