The Chawton House Library main collection focuses on works written by women in English during the period 1600 to 1830. The Library holds early editions of works from the period; many of the books in the collection are rare. The beautiful environs of Chawton House Library and the rolling Hampshire countryside surrounding it is the perfect setting for your big day. Whether you are seeking an intimate ceremony in the Lutyens-inspired Oak Room, a civil ceremony in the glorious paneled Dining Room, or a larger wedding in the Great Hall, we can accommodate your requirements.
