Serafina was Maurizio’s grandmother, and the name of her eponymous restaurant in the heart of Trastevere (Rome), where Maurizio first began making pizzas at the age of 14. She was a tough woman and wonderful chef.. an inspiration for his love of cooking then, and inspiration of how he is determined to persevere despite the difficult circumstances of today. We hope to create a warm, elegant space where neighbors and friends can come together. We have an amazing team with our partner Giuseppe Terminiello, the co-owner of Piccolo Forno with us (we also own Ideale, in North Beach as well), and Umberto Cannarsa, an accomplished and incredibly talented chef from Rome, who had his own successful restaurants there.

The Ayres Hotel Anaheim is a proud affiliate of Ayres Hotels; a private collection of European inspired hotels specifically located throughout Southern California. Ayres Hotels are developed, owned, and operated by the Ayres Family of Orange County. The 133-room hotel includes 4 One Bedroom Suites, 3 Two Bedroom Suites, 56 King Studio Suites, and 70 Double Queen Studio Suites. Numerous suites face the sparkling heated pool, while some even have a view of the Honda Center. Every suite is customized with an Ayres Dream Sleeper mattress, iHome MP3 player/alarm clock, flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, writing desk and chair. With over 1,000 square feet of meeting and event space, Ayres Hotel Anaheim offers four meeting rooms for social and business gatherings. Select meeting rooms feature beautiful views of palm trees and the glistening heated pool. The living room style lobby also offers an option for more of an intimate meeting space.
