La Canonica Di Cortine is located in Florence, in an ancient land, on top of a hill surrounded by rows of vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees in the Tuscan countryside. Here time seems to have magically stopped; the pleasant singing of unspoiled nature resounds in the rooms of this ancient mansion and the frenzy of modern life makes way for the harmonious tranquillity of times past. The charm of a period mansion and the beauty of its location, in an unspoiled and yet easily reachable valley, not only makes the Canonica of Cortine an ideal place for receptions and ceremonies, but also for meetings, seminars or any kind of business event. Other than the houses of the hamlet, the historical mansion also has some rooms that can facilitate small meetings. The property consists of a beautiful Villa, 10 refined apartments - with separate patios - and a Bed & Breakfast with elegantly furnished rooms, equipped with every comfort. All rooms are very comfortable and stylish, provided with separate entrances and every possible comfort.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
