Built on the red-rock cliffs above the Deschutes River, just minutes from downtown Bend and the Old Mill District shopping district you will find Mount Bachelor Village Resort. Surrounded by Ponderosa pines you can enjoy the well-groomed River Trail just outside your door or gateway on he Scenic Byway of the Cascade Lakes Highway. Bend is the recreational icon for the state, the trail can take you miles into pristine wilderness, brimming with wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Whether you are visiting during the winter or summer there is something for everyone. Summer brings warm weather and sunny skies. Enjoy an array of outdoor activities from white water rafting, paddleboard, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, caving, rock climbing, mountain biking or road cycling to name a few. Winter blanks Mt Bachelor Ski Resort and the high cascades with snow where you can enjoy downhill skiing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling. At anytime of the year you can enjoy the High Desert Museum or blaze your own trail on the Bend Ale Trail and experience some of the best craft breweries in Oregon.
