City Hotel Bergen op Zoom is a hotel with history. In 1930, the Oranjeboom Brewery has given the order for the construction of a hotel-café-restaurant. That became the current building, built in the eye-catching style of the Amsterdam School. Although not all hotel rooms were ready yet, the hotel was opened on the 23th of May 1931. Thirteen rooms were available at that moment: nowadays this number of rooms is more than eighty. If you step in here, you will feel welcome right away. We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
