A $275 million expansion in 2011 has made the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium (ICCLOS) a powerhouse destination for the largest events in the country – including the 2012 Super Bowl. With its striking contemporary look and sense of openness, the Indiana Convention Center redefines the character of a trade show and meeting venue. One of the largest convention centers in America, the center is connected by skywalks to more hotel rooms than any other city in the nation. Also linked to the center is a four-story urban shopping mall, surrounded by more than 200 restaurants and clubs, well-known sports venues, and a 10-block state park that features top museums, green space and a convenient canal walk.

HOME OF THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS! Lucas Oil Stadium (LOS) is a state-of-the-art, 63,000-seat, retractable roof, multi-purpose stadium featuring spectacular views of the Indianapolis skyline. In addition, the stadium has an infill playing surface, 7 locker rooms, exhibit space, meeting rooms, operable north window, dual two-level club lounges, 137 suites, retractable sideline seating, house reduction curtains, two large video boards, ribbon boards, spacious concourses, interior and exterior plaza space, 11 indoor docks, two vehicle ramps to the event level and much, much more. In 2010, LOS will be connected to the newly expanded convention center and several hotels and entertainment options by a new pedestrian connector. Tradeshows can take advantage of an indoor 30,000 square foot loading dock with 11 bays, retractable seating and operable walls to utilize up to 183,000 contiguous square feet of space. Football games can be played indoors or outdoors using the retractable roof and operable north window. The house reduction curtain system covers the entire Terrace Level seating, reducing capacity from 63,000 to approximately 41,000. Basketball and other half-house events have the option of playing in the round for up to 70,000 fans or in a much smaller configuration with a house reduction curtain system unlike any other stadium. Conventions may use the stadium for general sessions in a variety of configurations. The twelve backstage meeting rooms plus the 25,000 square foot Exhibition Hall 1 and 18,000 square foot Exhibition Hall 2 may be utilized for additional convention space. Concerts may be played indoors or outdoors in full stadium or reduced house configurations. Seating configurations range in size from 15,000-65,000.

Exciting National Football League action takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium, August through December. Tickets for the Indianapolis Colts games are available at all Central Indiana TicketMaster outlets and the Lucas Oil Stadium box office. Call the Colts' ticket office for further information. or tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster. The atmosphere is electric in downtown Indy before a home Colts game. Head to Lucas Oil Stadium for the Fan Zone, a pre-game party area for fans of all ages. The Fan Zone offers a variety of games for kids and adults, including: Quarterback Throw, Tower Climb, Football Bouncer, face painters and more! The Tailgate Tent, also available in the area, includes a full pre-game tailgate menu. In addition, The Colts Retail Express Trailer and the Colts In Motion traveling museum are on site. The Indianapolis Indians play their home games at Victory Field, a 14,200-seat ballpark located in downtown Indianapolis and White River State Park. The venue opened in 1996 and has received numerous national accolades as one of the best minor league ballparks in the United States from prominent publications such as Baseball America, Sports Illustrated and Midwest Living. The Canal Walk is a portion of the Historic Central Canal, an early 19th-century project designed to facilitate commerce. The Indy Fuel, a United States Hockey League team, provides high-energy, hard-hitting hockey action during their 30 regular season home games at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds (select games are played in downtown's Bankers Life Fieldhouse). The Indiana Ice Tier 1 Hockey Club was founded to provide a vehicle for aspiring college and professional hockey players to develop their academic skills, personal habits and ice hockey playing abilities in order to move up to the collegiate or professional level. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park Slated to open in fall 2009, the Virginia B.
