Loosie's

Subterranean in both location and spirit, Loosie’s is an edgy club beneath Moxy Lower East Side with a killer sound system and no-attitude dance floor — a unique spot for an unforgettable event. Guests enter by way of an alley behind the hotel, its walls graffitied with cryptic phrases by the late New York street artist Lance de los Reyes (aka Rambo), and descend past walls swirling with paint into a room inspired by the downtown art scene of the 1980s. An “exploded” disco ball chandelier casts a decadent spell over the tufted banquettes. The space has a bold but intimate feel, with materials that reflect the grittiness of the Lower East Side: cement-like walls embedded with metallic specks, a scaffolding-inspired cage above the bar whose intelligent lights sync with the night’s soundtrack.
