Hotel 500 Firenze, originally built in the years 1500 as the hospital’s (Degli Innocenti) orphanage, became later an elegant Villa, but completely abandoned after the Second World War. L’Hotel was recovered through recent restoration work that combines both the conservative origins and the modern functionality of facilities, to transform the property into an exclusive hotel. The hotel offers 60 bed rooms that can be suitable for the guests to relax and enjoy. Meetings, Parties and Events can be organized in the spectacular space on the ground floor or the first floor. Some events can be organized in the areas outside.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
