Marriott International introduced its first-ever Marriott-branded all-inclusive resort at the former site of the Marriott Cancun Resort, which closed in 2023 to undergo an extensive renovation ahead of its transformation. Now renamed Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort, the award-winning property continues its longstanding legacy in the Yucatán Peninsula, offering elevated beachfront accommodations, world-class amenities, and unparalleled access to Cancun’s most iconic experiences. Ideally situated in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone along a pristine stretch of the Mexican Caribbean, the resort is located just 2 miles (5 km) south of Cancún Center—the city’s main convention venue—and close to major shopping plazas. Cancun International Airport is conveniently located 11 miles (16 km) away. Several archaeological sites and ecological parks lie within a two-hour drive of the resort. As a leading meetings destination in the Hotel Zone, the property can host groups ranging from 10 to 900 guests. The resort features an 8,010 sq. ft. ballroom that can be easily divided into eight breakout sections, along with four additional meeting rooms and an extensive selection of outdoor venues. Our Groups and Conventions team is dedicated to supporting every detail of event planning. Our experienced culinary team has curated a wide range of menus designed to accommodate any type of event and budget. We also offer spectacular themed parties complete with décor, entertainment, and tailored menu offerings. The audiovisual department is equipped with state-of-the-art video and sound technology. From relaxed terrace breakfasts to elegant beachfront galas, our professional banquet team provides exceptional service and diverse menu options. We welcome all-inclusive group packages for bookings from 10 rooms up to 450, including full buyouts. The group package rate includes all-inclusive offerings for private events.
