The Criterion Hotel is located in Rockhampton, Australia. The Criterion Hotel Motel Rockhampton offers affordable pub style accommodation with the class of yesteryear as well as modern motel suites with the style of the 21st century. Budget rooms are situated upstairs and have either a Double or Single bed or both and include a Shower, TV and Air-conditioning. Parkers Function Room is the original ‘Grand Ballroom’ of the Criterion Hotel, which was built by the Parker and Curtis families in 1887. Parkers has lost none of the character of that bygone era and is truly representative of the traditional English/Victorian influence in the development of Rockhampton. Parkers is fully air conditioned with bar and facilities. Subject to the style of the function, Parkers can cater for up to 100 cocktail style or 70 for seated. Parkers is the ideal venue, whether it be for the Wedding Ceremony which can be followed by cocktails in the Grand Foyer and the Newsroom Bar or for the Wedding Reception.
