A relatively recent mosque. It's the largest in Morocco and the third largest in the world, with the tallest minaret in the world. It is one of the two main mosques in Morocco open to non-muslims. Beautiful interior complete with water features, a roof that opens to the sky, a huge hammam in the basement (not in use), and beautiful tile work. Worth a trip to the city. Tours Sa-Th 9AM, 10AM, 11AM and 2PM (120 MAD per person or 60 MAD for students with ISIC). (5 minute taxi ride from the hotel)
The Medina
Casablanca's medina is located near the train station, the harbor and the Hassan II Mosque (5 minute walk from the hotel). Feel free to negotiate before purchasing.
Habous
Also called the "New Medina", this “new town” was built by the French at the same time as the city center Medina. The habous is calmer, cleaner, and more relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of traditional Moroccan medinas. (10 minute taxi ride from the hotel).

Hôtel Club Val d'Anfa offers free Wi-Fi and is set in peaceful gardens with a swimming pool and ocean views. Guest rooms at the Club Val are equipped with a TV, a marble bathroom and a minibar and have a balcony. They look out over the ocean or the garden. Breakfast is available every day. The hotel offers a bar and several restaurants, each serving a variety of Moroccan and international cuisine. Additional services include massages, hammam, sauna and hot tub. Situated on Casablancas Corniche, Hôtel Club Val d'Anfa is near restaurants, bars and night-life. It is also close to the main business districts. It is also a 5-minute drive from Morocco Mall, the largest shopping centre in Africa.
