A full array of business services are available for conferences and meetings. Host an elegant wedding in one of our ballrooms or a business meeting in one of our conference rooms. The hotel features over 18,000 sq ft of meeting space hosting up to 400 for a seated dinner. The Francis Marion Hotel also provides all the traditional services one expects from a grand hotel: a doorman and bell service, concierge, valet parking, room service, wireless internet services, business center and a well equipped fitness center.

We are a member of Historic Hotels of America and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house cost $80,000 to build, at a time when the average value of a home was $262. The graceful interiors with elaborate plasterwork ornamentation, geometrically shaped rooms, formal gardens and collection of 18th-century decorative and fine art speak to the wealth of Charleston’s elite in the early days of the American Republic.
