This award-winning 276-acre nature park features a 3.25-mile oyster chaff walking trail, which meanders through wildflower meadows, wetlands, tidal ponds, woodlands and sandy beaches. The trail provides a unique vantage point for viewing an incredible variety of waterfowl, wildlife and plant species. A gazebo and wheelchair-accessible boardwalk, located along the beach afford a spectacular view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and park benches located along the trail provides a brief respite for the weary. The trail, which wanders over several ridges, across marshlands and through woodlands, features two observation blinds overlooking the tidal ponds. A. Our historic Manor House features 24 recently renovated guestrooms, but is not equipped with an elevator, so guests are invited to use exterior ramps to navigate the building. B. Pavilion event space available seasonally, approximately May 1 through October 31 C. Outdoor swimming pool (seasonal) D. Our property does not currently feature a fitness center E. Please note that ride share services (Uber, Lyft) are limited in our Eastern Shore region and therefore we recommend that local group travel for offsite activities or airport transfers be scheduled in advance Kent Island Resort property amenities include: - Twenty four (24) recently renovated guestrooms and suites - Complimentary onsite parking - Direct waterfront views and lounging opportunities, as well as adjacent paths and outdoor space for recreation and renewal - Unique historical and modern event spaces across our 226 acre resort property - 18TWENTY Restaurant onsite with a skilled culinary team prepared to delight your senses - Daily Resort Fee includes lobby coffee station, wireless internet and access to seasonal resort activities, including bikes, pool, fire pits, and watersports.
