Gran Baita Hotel & Wellness - Courmayeur is located at the foot of Mount Bianco in Courmayeur, a charming small town known as the oldest and one of the most popular Alpine destinations in Italy. The fully equipped 54 rooms are all tastefully decorated and feature all modern business amenities. The luxurious building features a typical Valdostano (Aostan) style and is set in a valley of outstanding beauty, at the foot of the huge Mount Bianco glacier. It is the ideal base to undertake challenging slopes or to take the scenic cableway to the mountain top. The business area of the Gran Baita includes several conference and meeting rooms all professionally equipped, capable of accommodating up to 200 people.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
