Yes. JW Marriott Chicago has implemented measures to reduce single‑use plastics by limiting disposable items and offering sustainable or reusable alternatives whenever possible. Plastic items such as straws, stirrers, and certain amenities are minimized in standard service and provided upon request, including for guests with accessibility needs, in alignment with Marriott International’s broader sustainability and waste‑reduction goals.

Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.

Groups may elect to purchase carbon credits to help offset the environmental impact of their meeting.
