The Hyperion Hotel Dresden am Schloss is located in the heart of Dresden's old city in close proximity to the castle and the “Frauenkirche”. A modern interior design is hidden behind the façade designed according to historical models. The hotel is characterised by its comfortable rooms, fine cuisine, attractive conference facilities and small but lovely spa area. The hotel also has it’s own underground car park. The 235 rooms and suites with different room styles are decorated with functional elegance and promise utmost comfort. Many also offer a wonderful view of Dresden Castle or the "Frauenkirche". The innovative, open-plan bathrooms are equipped with a shower and some also have a bath. Family rooms with connecting doors and children facilities are also available. Two rooms are equipped for the disabled and fitted with a shower suitable for wheelchairs. Otherwise, most areas of the hotel are accessible for wheelchair users. Those travelling on business take pleasure in visiting our executive lounge, whose relaxed atmosphere and modern technology allows them to work with focus. As a guest at the Hyperion Hotel Dresden am Schloss, you will be provided with culinary delights. A varied breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant in the morning, from which you can eat until your heart's content. Later in the day, local and international delicacies are served à la carte. There is also a stylish bar with views of the castle and a hotel lounge with doors to the courtyard that are open in Summer. The bar and lounge also serve food. Hyperion Hotel Dresden am Schloss offers relaxation and sporting activities in the form of the spa area and a fitness centre in the historic vault cellar from the 15th century. Guests can relax in the sauna, work out using the various pieces of equipment and experience the impressive mix of the historic stone vault and modern design in the relaxation room! Seven conference rooms with a total area of 482 square metres can be booked at the Hyperion Hotel Dresden am Schloss for meetings and festive occasions. High-quality parquet flooring, modern technology and the impressive views of the castle make the rooms ideal for events and festive occasions with up to 300 people.

Brühl's Terracearose in the 16th century as part of the fortifications on the banks of the Elbe between the Augustus Bridge and the Carola Bridge. Heinrich von Brühl later had the so-called “Brühlsche Herrlichkeiten” (Brühl wonders), a gallery, a library, the Belvedere and the Palace and garden created and thus turned it into the “Balcony of Europe”. Experience the beautiful side of the Elbe during a boat trip. This will lead you to Loschwitz with the "Blue Wonder" bridge, the shore marked by vineyards, and the three “Elbschlösser”. It is less than a five-minute walk from the Hyperion Hotel Dresden am Schloss to Brühl’s Terrace where the steamer excursions start.

The original opera house built in 1841 by Gottfried Semper burned down just 28 years later; however, at the request of the people of Dresden, the architect designed a new building. This building suffered severe damage during the Second World War, but was rebuilt according to Semper's plans until 1985. The impressive building of the Semper Opera House has the best acoustic conditions. The approximately 400-kilogram, painted decorative curtains are particularly impressive. Whether you want to get to know the house during a ballet or opera performance or during a public guided tour, it is less than a five-minute walk from the Hyperion Hotel Dresden am Schloss. The “Grüne Gewölbe” at Dresden Castle shows the treasure house of the Wettin princes from the Renaissance to Classicism. The exhibition is divided into the historic “Grüne Gewölbe” and the new “Grüne Gewölbe”. The historical part, for which there are only a limited number of tickets, presents around 3,000 exhibits against a historic backdrop on magnificent tables in the castle vault. The new part shows a modern treasure house museum, including works by the court sculptor Balthasar Permoser and the court goldsmith Johann Melchior Dinglinger.
