The Abshot Community Centre is run by "Abshot community association". The Association is a voluntary organization setup to run and maintain the facilities for local community groups. The Hall at the community centre is used for a wide variety of groups and activities from dance classes to church groups. When the centre is not in use by community groups it is available for private hire. A bar is located off from the hall and run by the Sovereign social club when required. There are also kitchen facilities available.
