In the hush of a centuries-old, walled private garden, the largest in Florence, Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is located just minutes away from the Galleria Accademia with Michelangelo’s “David” or the Piazza Duomo. With only 115 rooms and suites, no two alike, the hotel is divided in two buildings (the Palazzo Della Gherardesca and the La Villa), full of lovingly restored historic and artistic details. From frescoes and friezes to hand-painted basso-rilievos, beauty is all around. The rooms are designed in two color schemes, yellow and green, and all are equipped with King or two Twin beds, comfortable armchairs, writing desk, two independent telephone lines, private safe, minibar, flat screen TV with satellite television and pay-per-view movies, CD and DVD player as well as WI FI Internet access.

When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
