Highlight Room

A stylish garden in the sky floating 16 stories above the Lower East Side, The Highlight Room is a glamorous rooftop bar and outdoor terrace that hosts showstopping events and gatherings with commanding views of the New York skyline. Ascending on a dedicated elevator from a street-level alley behind the hotel, guests arrive to a private Eden with hanging plants, fabric lanterns, lush greenery, and a majestic olive tree. An operable glass wall spans the entire width of the bar, folding back to allow access to the outdoor terrace, where guests can lift a cocktail to the expansive views — north to the Empire State Building, south to the Freedom Tower. The north and south sides of the room are lined with banquettes positioned to take advantage of the cityscape views from floor-to-ceiling windows.
