The BEST WESTERN Hotel Moderno Verdi is housed within a beautiful historic building, which has been carefully renovated in the Liberty Style. This architectural style was so congenial to Genoa that the Florentine architect Gino Coppede spent a long time in the city to develop his own particular style taking inspiration from the Liberty and Art Deco Styles. The hotel design is characterized by elegance and attention to detail. The layout of the interiors and furnishings; the elegant fabrics and curtains; the exquisite burl wood paneling; and the clever play of indirect lighting; all combine to convey the warmth and hospitality of a private dwelling. The hotel is located close to the Genoa Brignole Railway Station, the airport and the International Fair. Reach the main theaters, the Palazzo Ducale, the aquarium, the convention center, the Porto Antico di Genova, the historic center, the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and the motorway within a few minutes.The Bandaranaike International Airport is just eight kilometers away.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
