Hotel & Villas: Independente Comporta consists of 12 ha of land with 24 courtyard villas and a 40-key hotel at its heart. The villas range from studios to 5-bedroom houses, and the hotel rooms essentially consist of double rooms with private patios, where 12 are adjoining and can be connected to create family rooms or master suites. Events & more: Located in the heart of the property, Casão is a large events space, with an 8-meter-high ceiling and a lounge area that will aim to include all guests who visit us. With versatility at its heart, this area has the ideal characteristics for holding banquets, exhibitions, yoga classes and many other events. It also has an outdoor space of firepits with capacity for up to 35 prepared to offer you a cocktails, oysters and wine from when the sun starts to set and to the sound of music and laughter amongst friends, family and complete strangers. Restaurants & Bar: The open-spaced main building will feature the hotel’s main restaurant, Maroto, where you will find us being a bit cheeky with food from Alentejo. At Maroto you will also find a forward-thinking wine menu with their grape’s health at its core as well as regionally-inspired contemporary cocktails and a specialty coffee offering. On the next-door building’s rooftop, our pool will have a side-kick pizza & grill with drinks and music to add to the mix. Spa & Wellness: A regenerative spa where osteopathy, personal training and nutritional advice will provide the trinity of support we believe vital to everyone’s lives. Naturally, professional massages and locally-inspired treatments are quintessential and we’re no different.
