Hobby Airport is Houston's oldest commercial airport and was the airline airport until Houston Intercontinental Airport (now George Bush Intercontinental Airport) opened in 1969. Hobby is a secondary airport for domestic airlines and is a regional center for corporate and private aviation. Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
